vigora 100 mg  is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, prescribed for erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction(ED) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection long enough to perform sexual intercourse. It relaxes the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to enter to achieve an erection. It can also be used in pulmonary arterial hypertension.It treats the problem of erectile dysfunction and other related issues like impotency and more. The tablet is a phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitor that relaxes the blood vessels and thus improving the blood flow. 

How to use :

Take this pills in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. vigora 100 Red Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.This drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis). Practice "safe sex" such as using latex condoms. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

Work :

vigora relaxes the smooth muscles by inhibiting Phosphodiesterase type-5. This results in the increase of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which relaxes the smooth muscles and increases the flow of blood.So more blood flows in, which leads to an erection. Lastly, the cGMP is degraded by the enzyme PDE-5 (phosphodiesterase 5), which narrows the vessels again - the penis relaxes.

How to take :

It is normally taken about 1 hour before sexual activity; however, it may be taken anywhere from 4 hours to a half hour before sexual activity. Talk to your physician about a reliable way to take it. Do not take more than the suggested dose or take it more often than once daily, or as directed by your doctor.If you use drugs called poppers like amyl nitrite and butyl nitrite. If you have been told not to have sex by your doctor.

Dosage :

• Miss dose:

when used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, in case of a missed dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. The dose can be skipped if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the miss one.

• Over dose:

 You may require immediate medical attention depending on the severity of the symptoms.emergency medical treatment will be initiated by the doctor if an overdose is suspected.

Warning :

This pills is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. Your doctor will determine the appropriate course of treatment after evaluating all the risks and benefits associated with the use of this medicine.Priapism may result in penile tissue damage as well as permanent loss of sexual potency.this medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients predisposed to priapism.  Use of vigora 100mg is not recommended if your doctor has asked you to not indulge in any sexual activity due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects on the heart.

Storage :

Do not flush tablets down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Store at room temperature away from light and humidity. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
